Another perfect day in Paradise awaited competitors again.
Offshore winds, warm sunshine, whales breeching, dolphins gambolling and excellent peaks out the back with long barrelling walls making for an outstanding display of surfing. Old Mals had it almost to themselves early with shoulder high peaks allowing some real retro style to be displayed.

2008/09 Presentations were also held, ably presided over by new President, Warwick (Wogs) Bracey, who returned from overseas to find he had been nominated in his absence unopposed - as no one else felt up to vacating the huge shoes left by ten year incumbent and life member, Sput Keevers, who is off to pursue a career in Golf.
